March 28, 2015
1 Year, 6 months and 25 days since
our celebration.
Dear members and alumni of Phi Delta Theta, Minnesota Beta
Look at everything on this web site because it was all created for you--- and your family.  The PDT@50 planning committee was very clear about the goal for celebrating 50 years of Phi Delta Theta on campus at Mankato.  Our goal was to celebrate our growth by wrapping our arms around the campus that nurtured us.
To do that, we organized events that allow us to show the entire campus how proud we are to be Phi Delts. For the Homecoming Parade, we hired two marching bands and are building a float. Bring your children and grandchildren to walk with us between the bands or ride on the float.
In November, we will celebrate the actual founding by sponsoring an on campus speaker’s bureau of successful Phis and inviting the President of the college to address an on campus dinner gathering of Phi Delt alumni.
In March, we created a Friday night social, a Saturday spouse only event, the actual Founders Day luncheon meeting and Founders Day 50th anniversary dinner-dance. The dinner-dance will feature remarks by President of Phi Delta Theta and the President of Minnesota State University. We will also honor distinguished MSU Alumni, distinguished Phis of the last 50 years, and make ample use of the talents from various campus groups.
So read the web site, sign up for events, and most important, call your pledge bothers and arrange to meet them and their spouse or partner at the events.
Proud to be a Phi,
50th Anniversary Planning Committee.
